A fun, beginner-friendly class to help you make a cute snack plate all your own while sipping on some tasty wine. Sgraffito is a decorative technique for clay that involves scratching or carving though a top layer of a contrasting color to reveal a beautiful design.
Included:
Materials (clay & tools)
Kiln firing for one finished piece
Instructor glazing of your piece in a color of your choice
Glass of wine
Pickup Info:
Finished work will be ready approximately 4 weeks after class. Your teacher will contact via email you when it’s ready. Please note: pieces must be picked up within 4 weeks of that email. Unclaimed work will be donated to Byrdie’s Free Pottery Box.
BIPOC Fellowship Spots
We reserve 3 discounted spots in each class for those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or a Person of Color. If those are filled, BIPOC students are still welcome to register at the general rate. Learn more here:

COVID Policy
If a student tests positive for COVID-19, they must notify their instructor. We will follow current CDC guidelines and may require proof of a negative test before returning to class.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations 5 or more days before class: refund minus a 10% cancellation fee
Cancellations within 5 days of class: 50% refund
Cancellations within 24 hours of class: no refund
