Byrdie’s Pottery is a community of people whose mission is to welcome anybody who is interested in the ceramic arts, from those with a budding interest to folks highly experienced with clay.

Members are responsible for 100% of the pottery making process, from setup to clean up. For the safety of everyone, you should always leave the studio cleaner than you found it. Though we give new members an orientation to the studio and you can always ask a fellow member any question, it is important that you are comfortable hand building or wheel throwing, and glazing, independently. For the safety of you and our space, we only accept members who have experience with ceramics whether through classes at Byrdie's or somewhere else. We try to accommodate everybody but may not be able to accommodate high volumes of work. This is not a studio for production potters.
