We’ll have all the things you need to make your own candle—wax, wicks, and of course, beautiful vessels to make a candle in. Buy a piece of pottery, and then make a candle in it! Bring your own essential oil if you’d like to make your candle scented. Candles will be ready to pick up the following day.

Join us at Byrdie's for Second Saturday to celebrate the work of incredible member, artist, and Byrdie’s board member Sarah Lazar. Sarah is one of the most technically skilled potters in our studio, constantly challenginer herself to improve her skills and learn new techniques, She has been creating brand new work for this show, some of which are updates on her classic forms and others area ll new!

Come to Byrdie's on October 20th from 3-7pm for a monstrous good time at Monsters & Monsteras. We'll have pottery for sale, including work by our featured artist Goni Sondak, and plants (lots of monsteras among others) from Ninth Ward Nursery.
Come dressed as a plant, a monster, or a plant-monster, and get a free "monster-ita" with any purchase!
If you'll be making your way to Krewe of Boo and can't carry purchases with you, we'll be open from 1-4pm the next afternoon for purchase pick-ups.
The party continues after the official event ends, so costume-up and come celebrate with us!
