$320.00

Dates: April 11-May 30
Instructor: Pheebs (they/them)

This INTERMEDIATE 8 week session runs weekly on Thursday evenings from April 11 - May 30 and meets from 5-8p. This class is only open to Intermediate students. If you have taken at least two 8-week wheelthrowing courses, we consider you an intermediate student. In this class, Pheebs will help you hone your skills, learn more autonomy in your studio practice, and refine your forms, attachments, and techniques. Possible goals include - throwing bigger, lidded jars, narrow-necked vessels, etc. Each student will receive one 25-lb bag of clay with their class registration, Pheebs will support you in recycling the clay yourself, and you may purchase additional clay as needed. This class is also a great way to work towards a Byrdie’s Membership, if that’s something that you’re interested in.

Pieces will be ready to pick up within 4 weeks of final class. The instructor will email you when work is ready for pickup, and student Pieces MUST be picked up within two weeks of the instructor’s email. Unclaimed pieces will be considered “donated” to the Byrdie’s Shop!

WE DO NOT OFFER MAKEUP CLASSES, except for special circumstances. Please only sign up for this class if you can attend all of the dates in the 4-week session. If you must miss a class due to sickness, you may ask the teacher if they can schedule a 1.5-hour private makeup class, in which case you would pay the teacher $45 directly. We do not offer makeup classes due to your scheduling conflicts.
