Do you ever daydream about hotdogs on surfboards, underwater cars made of bubbles, flowers that laugh and cry green slime! Join us to stretch the bubble gum elasticity of your imagination at Clay Curiosity Corner with Ness! Learn clay techniques alongside creative growth, exploration, and silliness. This three week course is designed to be a try- it immersive creative class for adults with creatively engaging prompts paired alongside technical and art historical learning. Come be curious, mush some clay, make some wackadoo pieces, and most importantly- get messy and have fun! Each 3 week session will have a larger theme with brainstorm and jumping off prompts to get your imagination train moving!

All levels and ages welcome for this intergenerational class. Young artists must be approved via teacher for independent learning style and abilities. If you would like to register an artist under the age of 18, please email inquiries@byrdiespottery.org before completing registration.

Classes 1 + 2 will involve working with wet clay, and the 3rd class will be glazing.

Pieces will be ready to pick up within 4 weeks of final class. Student Pieces MUST be picked up within 4 weeks of when the teacher notifies them that they are ready for pickup. Unclaimed pieces will be considered “donated” to the Byrdie’s Shop!
