Byrdie's Pottery offers a selection of classes from six-week wheelthrowing classes to single session handbuilding workshops! We update this page as soon as we have our class schedule decided - so stay tuned and check out our current class offerings below. Morning Handbuilding Workshop

9:30 am - 12:30 pm, Mondays, October 29, November 5 & 12

We're excited to announce a 3-week handbuilding workshop! Come learn essential pottery techniques (coil and slab) with Byrdie's member Danny. We'll spend the first two classes building pieces and adding texture, and the last session will be spent glazing our kiln-fired pieces. Students are welcome to come to class with or without a plan of what they'd like to create!

Tools and all materials provided. Pieces will be ready for pickup a week or two after the final class. Class is capped at six students.

Tuesday Wheelthrowing November 6- December 11

Time: 6:30-9:30 pm

This five session class runs once per week from November 6 - December 11. There will be no class on November 20th. Students learn wheel throwing basics such as centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing, guided by Byrdie’s board member Lauren Rouatt. The class is geared towards beginners with little or no experience but intermediate students are also welcome to enroll and hone their skills. All materials and tools provided. Final pieces can be picked up a week or 2 after the last class.

Wednesday Wheelthrowing November 7- December 12

The class is geared towards beginners with little or no experience but intermediate students are also welcome to enroll and hone their skills. All materials and tools provided. Final pieces can be picked up a week or 2 after the last class.
