Byrdie's Pottery offers a selection of classes from six-week wheelthrowing classes to single session handbuilding workshops! We update this page as soon as we have our class schedule decided - so stay tuned and check out our current class offerings below. Wednesday Wheelthrowing: January 2 - February 6

Time: 6:30-9:30 pm

This six session class runs once per week from January 2 - February 6. Students learn wheel throwing basics such as centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing, guided by Byrdie’s board member Lauren Rouatt. The class is geared towards beginners with little or no experience but intermediate students are also welcome to enroll and hone their skills. All materials and tools provided. Final pieces can be picked up a week or 2 after the last class.

Thursday Wheelthrowing: January 3 - February 7

Students learn wheel throwing basics such as centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing, guided by Byrdie’s member Zoe Swartz. The class is geared towards beginners with little or no experience but intermediate students are also welcome to enroll and hone their skills. All materials and tools provided. Final pieces can be picked up a week or 2 after the last class.

Tuesday Wheelthrowing: February 12 - March 26 (March 5 off)

The class is geared towards beginners with little or no experience but intermediate students are also welcome to enroll and hone their skills. All materials and tools provided. Final pieces can be picked up a week or 2 after the last class.
